    Program Description:

    The program’s primary mission is to prepare individuals for professional administrative positions in student services departments at two- and four-year colleges and universities. The curriculum emphasizes administrative leadership and management of programs and services.

    Additionally, the CSSA program meets or exceeds the most recent criteria or standards of excellence established by the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education. These standards include having qualified faculty, high quality advising, and curriculum in foundational studies, professional studies, and supervised practice.

    Courses for a M.S. in Education (M.S.Ed.):

    This program is designed for the working professional, who often finds it difficult to attend weekly classes. Our classes are held one weekend, on Friday afternoons and evenings and Saturdays, on the campus of the Wilsonville Training Center (Clackamas Community College), Wilsonville, Oregon. Interim assignments between monthly weekends are supported by mentoring and coaching of instructional staff and peers via the internet. The weekend sessions are highly interactive, engaging, and focus on application of skills that can be applied immediately to one's workplace setting.
